WWE Hall of Famer “Rowdy” Roddy Piper checks in with a new comedy video where he reveals his New Years Resolutions for 2012:
Big Name Guests Set For WWE’s ‘Legends Of Wrestling’
Jim Ross twitted that he will be in Stamford, Connecticut next Wednesday to tape episodes of WWE Classics On Demand’s roundtable discussion show, Legends of Wrestling. He will be joined by “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, Diamond Dallas Page, Michael Hayes and host “Mean” Gene Okerlund.
“One show will address many of the rogues, outlaws, mavericks, etc that have dotted the pro wrestling landscape over the years. Men and women who were strong, independent thinkers and who, at times, were major a pain in the ass for promoters,” Ross added on his official website.
“The second topic is scheduled to be the impact that athletes and celebrities from outside the world of wrestling have played in the business. The celeb card has been played for decades including guys like Joe Louis and Rocky Marciano being special referees. I’ve tried to forget Jay Leno ‘wrestling’ once upon a time but I will have plenty to say about that hideous idea.”
Roddy Piper Undergoes Successful Neck Surgery
Good news for Roddy Pipers fans that he is fine now. As Roddy Piper has announced last week he has a broken neck. Piper had a successful neck surgery and he twitted after his operation said he is not able to operate computer because of pain. Piper had a operation on Monday which started 3 PM and finished after 6.5 hours and due to WWE schedule he had not slept since Saturday. After treatment now he is feeling good and his broken neck is fixed but he will stay in hospital for at least 10 days. When he will be able to walk Roddy wants to go kids cancer ward and he praise the kids said they are the bravest people in the world. He also made an announcement for his fans that he have a surprise for them and it will be unveiled in next four weeks. People will love this surprise. Roddy Piper said.
