Two New World Champions At Money In The Bank
C.M. Punk defeated John Cena to win the WWE Championship at Sunday’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view. Vince McMahon attempted to recreate the Survivor Series screwjob finish, but Cena wouldn’t go for it. Punk hit Cena with the GTS and won the match. Watch video below.
Vince McMahon ordered Alberto Del Rio to cash in the Money in the Bank contract he won earlier in the night. However, Punk floored Del Rio with a kick to the head before he could attempt to cash in. Punk ran through the crowd with the WWE Championship and left the pay-per-view as the champion.
Meanwhile, Christian defeated Randy Orton by disqualification to win the World Hvt. Championship. Per the match stipulations, the title went to Christian on the DQ. Christian spat in Orton’s face to goad him into the DQ.
WWE Christian Robbed
WWE Christian was also robbed in Cape Town. When they stole the World Heavyweight Championship from him after only two days. Independent Online has a story on the WWE show in Cape Town with a quote from Christian about the theft of the SmackDown stars bags: “I step off a plane, my baggage is broken into – you rip off the locks and you steal my clothes. Is this what this country is all about? Then shame on you!”
Christian i knew you are telling truth . I understand your frustration but how can you generalize what a country is about from your incident. Those people probably needed those clothes more than you do. Get over it and be happy.

With Edge having announced his retirement on Monday’s Raw, the World Heavyweight Championship was vacated last night on SmackDown. Christian triumphed in a No. 1 Contender’s World Heavyweight Championship Battle Royal to face No. 1 contender Alberto Del Rio for the vacant World Title at Extreme Rules. The two will face off in a ladder match.
